The Obama-Biden ticket now holds a 13-point edge, 54 percent to 41 percent. Independents now support the Democratic ticket 50 percent to 43 percent. Self-described moderates, meanwhile, overwhelmingly favor the Obama-Biden ticket, breaking for the Democrats 66 percent to 30 percent.
